After months of long, hard work, a documentary has been completed on General Sullivan's Expedition Through Bradford County, PA in 1779! This video has been produced in correlation with the Bradford County Historical Society and the America 250 Committee, and was also sponsored by the Sayre Historical Society and the Leroy Heritage Museum. This year, 2026, marks the special 250th anniversary of the United States. To help honor the birthday celebration, I was asked to produce a video documenting General John Sullivan's expedition through this county, Bradford County, Pennsylvania back in August of 1779. This project was a huge undertaking, and my first full feature-length documentary film! I had made other films of shorter length, maybe 10 minutes or so, that covered historical topics, but this was a tremendous undertaking! After months of work, it is now finished! It has been shown locally at our Bradford County Emergency Operation's Center as a premiere viewing for County Commissioners, Historical society members, and others who were interested in viewing it. The 1 hour and 14 minute film was enthusiastically received, and now it has been booked to be shown at local theaters - The Sayre Theater on April 12 at 4:00 PM, the Towanda Keystone Theater on April 19 at 2:00 PM, and the Canton Rialto Theater on April 26 at 6:00 PM. All of these showings are free of charge to the public - so if you can make any of these dates, be sure to attend and see this exciting documentary! I researched this project to keep it as factual as possible, then wrote a narrative which I then narrated and recorded, and then visited each location where General Sullivan's army encamped each night, using drone footage and AI computer images to bring to life the true stories of events that took place along their journey! While I have not been a big fan of AI in the past, I do realize that because this event took place almost 250 years ago during the Revolutionary War, no photo or video images exist of course of those events. So to keep this video interesting and aid with helping people remember what took place, I did utilize AI technology to help show what took place. I think the final result will be well worth your time to view it!

Once the video has been premiered at the local theaters, there are plans to hopefully show it in local high schools as an educational tool for a history class, as well as showing it in our local elderly care facilities for their residents to enjoy! Once these showings have been completed, the video will eventually be released on YouTube - on the Bradford County Historical Society's channel, as well as on my own.
